10-Week Memoir Intensive
A 10-week nonfiction workshop. Join memoirist Kathy Curto on campus for this workshop dedicated to the art of memoir. This intimate class offers a chance to share and receive feedback on up to fifty double-spaced pages of memoir material. This could be a collection of micro-memoirs, chapters from a manuscript-in-progress or vignettes that have yet to be shaped.

Writers will also be asked to read the work of classmates and offer in-class critique. (We will review guidelines and expectations about this in the early classes. No one will jump in without a raft.) There will be designated class times for generative writing from prompts and craft discussions, too. Work and play, work and play!

Kathy will provide a brief written narrative for each fifty-page packet. Also, for writers who have additional questions and ideas about their work, one-to-one conferences will be available, by appointment.

This class is limited to eight students. 

February 15 to April 18, 2024 
Thursdays, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, On Campus
